The staff is really helpful, the girls at the reception were polite and had helped me solving many problems. I slept at a room facing the courtyard, it was very quiet. Location is perfect, it’s on a shopping street only 10 minutes from the MarienPlatz, and the amazing Asam Church just beside.
Negative:
The lift is little and old, and doesn’t work from 22:00 to 7:00.

My showers were cold and breakfast was not included in my fairly steep rate. If I had wanted to buy breakfast from the hotel I would have been overpaying at 7 euros.

The best thing to say about the Hotel is it has a very good location, 5 minutes walk from Marienplatz, 2 minutes walk to the subway, and steps from shopping and restaurants. I would probably stay here again based solely on the location and price. As far as comfort goes it was somewhat lacking. The bed was saggy and you could feel springs in the mattress. The chairs in the room likewise had little support. It was clean, however, and that is more important to me than most of the other things. Access to a laundromat was about a 15 minute walk (walk through the Platz where Sendlinger Tor is located, continue down right side of the main road which changes names on the other side of Sendlinger Tor, and after about 10 minutes you will see it on the right side. There’s a cafe next to it so you can have coffee and eat while you wait if you desire). But the main thing here is location, location, location– if you can tolerate the thought of a not so comfortable bed, for 70 Euro per night, this is a good place to stay.
Negative:
The toilet leaned to the right, the shower head bracket was broken (and wasn’t repaired even though I told them about it), the bed left something to be desired. REally I don’t know why the ownership doesn’t just spend 500-700 euro per room to fix things up a bit. If they did, it would be good to stay at for more than the location. I recommend the Hotel to others, given knowledge of it’s shortcomings.
