The location of the hotel was perfect – within a block of the subway station and about a 15-minute walk to the center of town if you chose to walk. The room and bathroom were very large, comfortable and extremely clean. The front desk staff was very helpful in checking on a tour I had booked and also in recommending restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Munich.

Big cozy rooms with balconies, quiet hotel, nice staff. I asked for a room on an upper floor, and with a window in the bathroom, and we got exactly what I asked for.

It was located near a number of transportation crossings and was walking distance from the center of the old town. The cost was less than many other hotels and breakfast was included.

I just wish it had a safe in the room. I do not like so much to wait for a hotel staff to organize the use of a lobby-level safe.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Cafe Mozart located across the street was also a great place to get a bite to eat. If you are without a car the hotel location is fantastic since it is centrally located and half a block from the subway.
Negative:
If you have a car the hotel location is not ideal since there are a number of one way streets and streets that are blocked out of access due to the university. We encountered major road construction the day of departure which caused major traffic, although I expect this is not the norm. But, if you drive in just park at the hotel and leave it. You don’t need it. The subway system is excellent. Beware of the detour taking taxi drivers. If you have to use a taxi I would negotiate the cost upfront with them or use gps to track them.
