We found that Hotel Wallis was perfect for our city break, all the staff were very friendly & the hotel was always very clean. The breakfast was superb, the best we have had on this type of break. The choice was amazing with hot cooked sausages, scrambled eggs, cold meats, smoked salmon,cheeses,breads ,cakes, fresh fruits etc. in fact too many to mention! The postion was perfect for arriving by train from the airport,just about 5 min walk from the station.The centre was near enough to walk to with plenty of eating places nearby. We would definately go back to this Hotel.

Hotel is located in “dicey” area….Area surrounding hotel has many strip bars and strip shows and establishments with strippers on table tops. The area is loud late into the night if you have a street side room…and by late I mean 2:30 and 3:00 in the AM

The location next to station was perfect for us and despite travelling with small children the walk to the station and the start of our bus tour and the city itself was do-able. The surrounding red light district was faily tame and with so many hotels around the day time pedestrian traffic was just tourists. Late at night it may have been different though. This hotel has one of the best breakfast buffets for hotels of its size and price range

Only had a one night stay so we were in and out but staff was very agreeable and helpful. Close to trains and all transportation. Within walking distance to the center. Our room came with a little sitting room as well as a balcony.
