When you are considering to stay in Kempinski Airport Munich you should weighting two main features: it is very far from Munich Downtown, but it is actually “inside” the airport. Thus, if you need just a one single day stay (or overnight), this is your best choice in Munich (if you are travelling by air). You will not find a hotel near the airport with a competitive rate. For instance, the Holliday Inn Express charges you 119€ (including shuttle to the airport and breakfast), it is 19€ less than Kempinsky (which does not include breakfast), but Kempinsky is more quiet, offers many near options to have some meal, is next to a shopping mall, is more confortable and you will be inside the airport. But if you intend to stay more than one day in Munich, consider that the train from airport to downtown is 20€ (go and return) and it takes 40 min to get there. The girls in the reception desk are extremelly professional, helpful and kind, and because of them you feel like being in a 5-stars hotel (also because the lobby is gorgeous and futurist). I stayed in the room 4015, which was toward inner part of the hotel. The room was very much clean, quiet (I could not listen any airplane, as it happens at Holliday Inn), spacious and well furnitured. The bathroom is perfect: big, clean and with everything someone could expect to.

There are just two weaker features in Kempisnky: there is no free internet conection and the bed is not really a king size or even a queen size, but twin beds get together – it is completly unacceptable in a such hotel like this.
